Being the first
live show of the new year, I was expecting a surprise appearance
from either his dad, Martin, brother, Emilio Estevez, or his Spin
City cast mate Heather Locklear. But none of them showed up.
Maybe next time.
I liked the skits, especially the one where Rachel gives birth to
a fully-grown man (Will Ferrell) and the skit where Charlie and
Molly went to a T.G.I. Fridays and gets harrassed by the son of
the founder.
Despite rumors that Molly Shannon would leave SNL after the
Christmas show, the rumors came out to be false when I saw Molly
on Entertainment Tonight the night before the telecast rehearsing
with Charlie. I'm so glad to see Miss Shannon staying with the
cast.
Next week is SNL's official 500th show according to www.epguides.com. I didn't catch the name of the host of
next week's show, but I do know that Lenny Kravitz will be the
musical guest.
