Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” on September 30, 1995. Ferrell’s recurring characters are Craig Bushanan, Steve Butabi, Marty Culp, Terrence Maddox, Don Wester, Tom Wilkins, one of the drunk men who love to talk about Bill Brasky, a member of The Rocky Roads, and Frank. On SNL Ferrell has done impressions of Tom Bergeron, Brian Boitano, George W. Bush, Harry Caray, Jesus Christ, Dennis DeYoung, Neil Diamond, William Ginsburg, Al Gore, Saddam Hussein, Henry Hyde, Elton John, Ted Kaczynski, Ted Kennedy, Larry King, Bruce Lindsey, Bob Livingston, James Lipton, Mark McGwire, Willie Nelson, Benjamin Netanyahu, Jerry Reed, Janet Reno, Jerry Seinfeld, Kenneth Starr, the son of Alan Suess, Alex Trebek, and Brian Williams.

In 1998, Ferrell shot a movie, opposite Chris Kattan, of their characters, The Butabi Brothers. The movie was called “A Night at the Roxbury” which he co-wrote with Chris Kattan and Steve Koren. In 1997, Ferrell made his feature film debut as “Mustaffa” in the comedy “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery”, which starred SNL alumni, Michael Myers. He returned in the sequel “The Spy Who Shagged Me.” He was also seen as Watergate reporter Bob Woodward in the comedy “Dick” and opposite cast member, Molly Shannon in “Superstar” the SNL Studios hit, based on Shannon’s “Mary Katherine Gallagher” character.

Will Ferrell is married and lives in New York City and Los Angeles. His birthday is July 16.
