Ana Gasteyer

Ana Gasteyer joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” on September 28, 1996. Gasteyer’s recurring characters include Mrs. Attebury, Janet Blaum, Cinder Caloun, Bobby Mohann-Culp, Gayle Gleason, Margaret Joe McCullan, Kincaid, a member of The Rocky Roads, and Josephine. On SNL, her impressions include, Jpy Behar, Hillary Clinton, Glenn Close, Ann B. Davis, Celine Dion, Elizabeth Dole, Ginger Spice, Mia Farrow, Callista Flockhart, Kathy Griffin, Katherine Harris, Andie MacDowell, Debbie Matenopoulos, Susan McDougal, Sally Jessy Raphael, Cokie Roberts, Diana Sawyer, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Liz Smith, Martha Stewart, Barbara Steisand, Mary Tillotson, Jewel, Madonna, fictional Peter Pan character Wendy, and Nancy Worley.

Gasteyer made her Off-Broadway debut in September 2000. She appeared in Eve Ensler’s “The Vagina Monologues” opposite Oscar winner Mercedes Ruehl and Brooke Shields.

Gasteyer will soon be seen in the features “What Women Want” with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt; “Woman On Top” with Penelope Cruz and playing John Leguizamo’s wife in “What’s The Worst That Could Happen” with Martin Lawrence and Danny DeVito. She has also been seen in the comedy “Dick” as Rosemary Woods.

Gasteyer's television credits include NBC’s “Just Shoot Me,” “Seinfeld,” “Law and Order,” and “Mad About You,” “Party of Five” and “NYPD Blue.”

Ana Gasteyer currently lives in New York with her husband, Charlie. Her birthday is May 4.
