Chris Kattan

Chris Kattan joined “Saturday Night Live” on March 16, 1996 as a featured player. On September 28, 1996, he was promoted to a cast member. Kattan’s recurring characters include Azrael Abyss, Doug Butabi, Suel Forrester, Eddie Lewis, Mr. Peepers and Mango. Kattan has done impressions of Ben Afleck, Yasser Arafat, Antonio Banderas, Andy Dick, Rudy Galindo, Bill Gates, Elian Gonzalez, Joel Grey, Anne Heche, John Huang, Michael Jeter, David Kendall, Ricky Martin, George Michael, Al Pacino, Geraldo Rivera, David Lee Roth, Brian Setzer, Paul Shaffer, David Spade, Scary Spice, Kerri Strug, and Peter Pan.

Early 2001, Kattan can be seen in “Monkey Bone,” a combination of live action and stop motion animation starring Whoopi Goldberg, Brendan Fraser, Bridget Fonda and Rose McGowan. In addition, Kattan will also play the lead role in Disney’s mob comedy “Corky” (a character created by Kattan) opposite Peter Falk. The film centers on a troubled son (Kattan) of a mafia honcho who is forced to infiltrate the FBI to find out what information it has on his father. Peter Berg and Chris Penn also star in "Corky".

In 1998, Kattan brought his head-bobbing, SNL character to the big screen in “A Night at the Roxbury”. Kattan co-wroter the film with Will Ferrell and Steve Koren.

Before joining SNL, Kattan was a member of the Los Angeles-based improv/sketch comedy group The Groundlings, where current cast members Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Chris Parnell began their carrers.

Kattan has also guest starred on several network television programs, including “NewsRadio” and “Grace Under Fire.”

Chris Kattan currently lives in Los Angeles and New York City. His birthday is October 19.
