AL GORE/
GEORGE W. BUSH DEBATE
This sketch was not really that funny. The first debate
was the greatest, the second one was OK, but this one was kind of
boring. The only part that I did enjoy was Dana's impression of
George Bush.
B
MONOLOGUE
YES! Finally, not a diaologue!! I loved this part. He
looked just like George W. Bush when he made those faces!!
A+
MAGIC MOUTH
COMMERCIAL
This was very funny. I literally wet myself when
Horatio's magic mouth said "Did you see Charlie Rose last
night?" GO SNL for being ingenious with this sketch.
A+
NPR
Ok, this sketch was not as fascinating as it should have been. I
didn't really laugh except about the one part when Ana said
"Horror-deurves. I made that up last Christmas but I had to
save it 'til now." That was great!!
B
CHURCH CHAT
I thought that this skit was very good. I enjoy Dana
Carvey's character and I loved how he made fun of Hillary Rodham
Clinton, who loves her three little names, Anne He/ She, and
Eminem...the black rapper...that was hilarious!!
A
GEORGE BUSH
& GEORGE W. BUSH DEER HUNTING
This skit was okay. I think that it lacked some comedy,
though. I loved when George Senior told George Junior that he was
a little slow. "Back in the day, Babs and I called it
retardation."
A-
BAHA MEN
OMG...can we get rid of this song? Who wrote it??? It's
terrible!! I really do not like the Baha Men, however, they do
sing good live.
B
WEEKEND
UPDATE with JIMMY FALLON & TINA FEY
This Weekend Update was pretty good. I enjoyed the part
about the current online poll and how Bush couldn't count on his
fingers, that was great. However, the part with Adam McKay was
kind of stupid. Sorry, but I didn't care for it. However, the WU
itself had some pretty good jokes. Molly's impression of Anna
Nichole Smith was hilarious....I loved that part.
A
THE
WALLFLOWERS
Okay, I never liked The Wallflowers until I heard them
sing this song. They are a very good band and this is an amazing
song!
A
VH1 MUSIC
AWARDS
This skit was okay. Maya Rudolph nailed Macy Gray's
personality and voice. Also, I loved Tracy's impression of Samuel
L. Jackson, that was great. However, the funniest part was with
Jimmy Fallon as Sting and Rachel Dratch as the little midget
Puerto Rican...that was hilarious!!!
B
THE
WALLFLOWERS
This was also a good song by The Wallflowers. I enjoyed
it!!
A
OVERALL
SNL was pretty good this week. I thought that it was
very good compared to the season premiere.
