A
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: GEORGE W. BUSH -
COLD OPEN
This skit was histarical. I loved how George W. Bush
(Will Ferrell) was trying to pronounce all of the words and he
kept on getting confused. I also loved how he kept on getting cut
off by Bill Clinton (Darrell Hammond). However, Darrell's content
was not as funny as I thought it should have been but the whole
idea was great.

OPENING
CREDITS - MOCKING 'SURVIVOR'
These opening credits were histarical. SNL
didn't spend much time dwelling on each cast member, but
introduced each one very quickly with no sign of Don Pardo. I
loved the part in the opening credits when the text read "20
minutes; 1 frightened network".

SHORT
MESSAGE FROM TOM BROKAW
I really didn't understand this 20 second sketch at all,
but I guess that's just me. I really didn't know what the point
of it was but it was sort-of funny.

WEEKEND
UPDATE with JIMMY FALLON & TINA FEY
This Weekend Update was on of the funniest that I have
ever seen. I loved all of Tina Fey's jokes ESPECIALLY the one
about the scientists and the Irish people. That was classic. I
really didn't think that Molly Shannon's Elizabeth Taylor part
was pretty funny because I never saw the award show when
Elizabeth acted so strung out. But, from everyone I talked to,
Molly did a dead-on impression and after watching my tape over
and over again, the segment grew on me.

BOBBI
& MARTY MOHANN CULP
My favorite recurring characters are on in less than 5
minutes?...And they actually made it?...WOW!!! This was a
FANTASTIC sketch. I just would like to know one thing - what is
the trick to keeping a straight face? I have never seen Ana
Gasteyer crack up in a sketch. She is so good at keeping a
straight face and so are the other cast members but I have seen
them all crack up. This sketch was just so amazing, I loved the
"Baby Got Back" part of the song along with "The
Devil Went Down To Georgia" part.

OVERALL
I thought that this SNL was one of the funniest that I have ever
seen and I would love for SNL to do this every week but yes, I
know that they would get too tired out.
