WINS & LOSES TO THE TV GUIDE AWARDS

Saturday Night Live was nominated for the TV Guide Awards in two categories. Comedy Special of the Year, and Breakout Star of the Year.
Saturday Night Live Presidential Bash 2000 won the award for "Comedy Special of the Year." The losers of the award were SNL: The 25th Anniversary Special, Chris Rock: Bigger & Blacker, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Indecision 2000.
Jessica Alba from Dark Angel, won the award for "Breakout Star of the Year." The losers of the award were Will Ferrell & Darrell Hammond as George W. Bush & Al Gore from SNL, Tom Cavanagh from Ed, and Frankie Muniz from Malcom in the Middle.
