Chris Parnell
Chris Parnell joined “Saturday Night Live” on September 26, 1998 as a featured player. On October 2, 1999 he was promoted to a cast member. Parnell’s impressions include Rep. Bob Barr, Tom Brokaw, Pat Buchanon, Bing Crosby, Bill Daily, Newt Gingrich, Tom Hanks, Eminem, Jim Leher, Senator John Kenneth Starr. McCain, Fred Savage, and
Parnell can be seen in the SNL Studios feature “The Ladies Man” opposite Will Ferrell and SNL alumni, Tim Meadows.
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennesee, Parnell received his B.F.A. in Drama from North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem.
Parnell has performed with the Berkshire Theatre festival in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas and with Los Angeles-based improv/sketch comedy group The Groundlings where current cast members Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Chris Kattan began their careers.
