Chris Parnell joined Saturday Night Live on September 26, 1998 as a featured player. On October 2, 1999 he was promoted to a cast member. Parnells impressions include Rep. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennesee, Parnell received his B.F.A. in Drama from North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem.
Parnell has performed with the Berkshire Theatre festival in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas and with Los Angeles-based improv/sketch comedy group The Groundlings where current cast members Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Chris Kattan began their careers.
