Horatio Sanz

Horatio Sanz joined “Saturday Night Live” on September 26, 1998 as a featured player. On October 2, 1999 he was promoted to a cast member. Sanz’s impressions include Louie Armstrong, Louie Anderson, Larry Flynt, Barney Frank, Jerry Garcia, Meatloaf, and Kid Shazzam. His recurring characters include Al W. Bush Gore, Jasper Hahn, and Franky from the Denise and Sully

Sanz was also seen this past summer in the hit comedy “Road Trip” and just completed a starring role in the upcoming feature “Tomcats.”

Prior to his role on SNL, Sanz was a writer and performer at The Court Theater and Second City improv/sketch comedy troupe, where SNL alums John Belushi, Chris Farley, Bill Murray, and Tim Meadows (among others) began their carrers. He is also one of the founding members of The Upright Citizens Brigade.

Horatio Sanz lives in New York. His birthday is June 4.
